What do Barack Obama, a sociologist who learned the ropes in Al Capone's Mafia, and two young French activists from working-class neighborhoods have in common? Community Organizing. Or the art of building citizen pressure groups, a sort of "people from below" lobby, capable of confronting power when it no longer serves the general interest. This documentary tells the story of this technique invented in the United States and how some young French people are trying to introduce it in our country.
