Season 8 - Season 9
Adolescence et territoire(s) is an artistic and cultural education program initiated by the Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe in 2012, conducted in partnership with the Espace 1789, the T2G -Théâtre de Gennevilliers and supported by Vivendi Create Joy. For one season, twenty young people aged 15 to 20 from areas close to the Ateliers Berthier (17th) are introduced to dramaturgy and acting under the direction of artists.

The 8th edition is directed by the artist Mickaël Phelippeau in collaboration with Hortense Belhôte and Marcela Santander Corvalàn.
For this new season, we are following the workshops and rehearsals from the point of view of the artistic team who supervise the teenagers. The first two episodes were produced in January and February 2020, before the health crisis put this artistic adventure on hold.
In December 2020 and February 2021, the 15 teenagers of the 9th edition (continuation of the 8th edition) took part in a third week of rehearsals at the Ateliers Berthier with Mickaël Phelippeau, Hortense Belhôte, Lou Cantor and, for the first time, Abigail Fowler, lighting designer and set designer.
At the end of May 2021, they met again for a final week of rehearsal with the technical team of the T2G-Théâtre de Gennevilliers before presenting the creation Young Yellow Years.

This is not a portrait of adolescence, but rather a portrait of these 15 teenagers today: lively, funny, committed, energetic, conscious, crazy, satirical, rebellious, festive—in short, true to themselves. Caught up in a whirlwind, it will be about skateboarding in circles, boxing in Russian, dancing like furies, wandering around at night, talking for the sake of talking, loving people who doubt, rolling carpets to bring out the yellow...
